Platform rules for fair, transparent, and trusted business promotion

Xpress Deals is an online business discovery and promotional platform designed to help legitimate businesses promote their products, services, events, rentals, experiences, and special offers across Europe.

These Guidelines & Policies establish the standards applicable to business profiles, promotional offers, vendor conduct, and content published on Xpress Deals.

They complement the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

1. Scope and Eligibility

Xpress Deals is primarily intended for registered businesses, organisations, and other legal entities.

Businesses may use Xpress Deals if they:

  • are legally established and entitled to conduct their business activities;
  • operate within the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Switzerland;
  • hold a valid VAT registration where required by applicable law or by the relevant Xpress Deals service;
  • provide accurate business and contact information; and
  • offer products or services that comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Xpress Deals does not support:

  • private individuals acting outside a registered business activity;
  • informal or unregistered sellers where business registration is legally required;
  • businesses or activities operating in violation of applicable law; or
  • users providing false or materially misleading business information.

Xpress Deals may request reasonable information or documentation necessary to verify eligibility.

2. Accepted Types of Offers

Xpress Deals may publish legitimate commercial offers including:

  • discounts and promotional campaigns;
  • time-limited and seasonal offers;
  • products and physical goods;
  • professional and business services;
  • rentals;
  • accommodation and travel-related offers;
  • events, activities, and experiences; and
  • business-to-business offers.

Business profiles and promotional offers must be:

  • accurate, truthful, and not misleading;
  • sufficiently clear about prices, conditions, and material limitations;
  • available as described;
  • kept reasonably up to date; and
  • compliant with applicable EU and national legislation.

Publication on Xpress Deals does not constitute legal or regulatory approval, verification, certification, or endorsement of a business, product, service, or promotional offer.

3. Prohibited Content and Activities

The following content and activities are prohibited:

  • illegal products, services, activities, or content;
  • counterfeit, pirated, or stolen goods;
  • content that infringes intellectual property or other third-party rights;
  • dangerous or regulated products or services offered without required licences or authorisations;
  • weapons, controlled substances, or other prohibited goods;
  • fraudulent, deceptive, or materially misleading advertising;
  • fake discounts or artificial manipulation of prices or reference prices;
  • false or materially misleading business information;
  • hateful, discriminatory, threatening, obscene, or abusive content;
  • spam, unjustified duplicate listings, or unauthorised automated submissions;
  • manipulation of rankings, traffic, engagement, or platform functionality;
  • unauthorised collection or misuse of personal data;
  • attempts to circumvent platform restrictions or security measures; and
  • other content or conduct prohibited by applicable law.

Xpress Deals may assess content, accounts, and activities against these Guidelines, the Terms & Conditions, and applicable law.

4. Business Profile and Listing Quality

Businesses are responsible for ensuring that their profiles and promotional offers:

  • contain accurate and sufficiently complete information;
  • use clear and understandable descriptions;
  • display prices and material commercial conditions transparently where applicable;
  • clearly state relevant restrictions, availability, or validity periods;
  • use only text, images, logos, trademarks, and other material they own or are authorised to use;
  • are placed in appropriate categories and locations; and
  • are kept reasonably up to date.

As part of its publishing services, Xpress Deals may make non-material changes to formatting, spelling, presentation, categorisation, or technical elements where necessary for consistency, readability, or proper operation of the Platform.

The vendor remains responsible for the substance and accuracy of the information and offers it provides.

5. Vendor Responsibilities

Each vendor remains responsible for:

  • the legality of its business and offers;
  • the accuracy of information supplied to Xpress Deals;
  • prices, discounts, availability, and commercial conditions;
  • compliance with applicable consumer protection, advertising, tax, product, licensing, and data protection requirements;
  • obtaining and maintaining required licences, registrations, permits, and authorisations;
  • respecting intellectual property and other third-party rights;
  • fulfilling its obligations towards customers; and
  • delivering products or services as advertised.

Xpress Deals provides business discovery, publication, visibility, and promotional services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service, Xpress Deals is not the seller, supplier, contracting party, or agent in transactions between vendors and customers.

6. Moderation and Enforcement

Xpress Deals may review submitted content in order to maintain platform quality, security, compliance, and the integrity of its services.

Where appropriate, Xpress Deals may:

  • request clarification, corrections, or supporting documentation;
  • correct non-material formatting, presentation, or categorisation issues;
  • restrict the visibility of content;
  • refuse or suspend publication;
  • remove content;
  • temporarily restrict or suspend access to services; or
  • terminate access in cases of serious or repeated violations.

Restrictions will be applied in a diligent, objective, and proportionate manner, taking into account the circumstances of the case and the rights and legitimate interests of the parties concerned. This reflects the standard established by Article 14 of the DSA.

Where required by applicable law or the Terms & Conditions, affected users will be informed of the reasons for a restriction, suspension, removal, or termination and of available complaint or redress mechanisms.

Specific rules concerning restriction, suspension, termination, notice periods, and business-user rights are set out in the Terms & Conditions.

7. Reporting Illegal or Infringing Content

Any individual or organisation may report specific content that they believe is illegal or infringes third-party rights.

A report should contain sufficient information to allow Xpress Deals to identify and assess the content concerned, including where applicable:

  • a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the content is considered illegal or infringing;
  • the exact URL or other information necessary to identify and locate the content;
  • the name and email address of the person or organisation submitting the report, except where applicable law provides otherwise;
  • relevant supporting information or documentation; and
  • a statement confirming the good-faith belief that the information and allegations contained in the report are accurate and complete.

Xpress Deals may request additional information where reasonably necessary to assess a report.

Sufficiently precise and substantiated reports will be assessed in a timely, diligent, objective, and non-arbitrary manner. Where required by applicable law, the person submitting the report will receive confirmation of receipt and information about the decision taken and available means of redress.

Submitting a report does not automatically result in removal or restriction of the reported content.

These provisions reflect the notice-and-action requirements of Article 16 DSA for hosting services where those requirements apply.

8. Fair Use and Platform Integrity

Users must use Xpress Deals lawfully, fairly, and in good faith.

The following practices are prohibited:

  • repeatedly publishing identical or substantially similar content without legitimate reason;
  • artificially increasing visibility, traffic, or engagement;
  • keyword stuffing or misleading metadata;
  • intentionally using incorrect categories, locations, or tags;
  • creating or using multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions;
  • attempting to manipulate search, ranking, or other platform functionality;
  • unauthorised scraping, automated extraction, or automated submissions;
  • interfering with the operation, security, or integrity of the Platform;
  • attempting to gain unauthorised access to Xpress Deals or related systems;
  • introducing malware, malicious code, or other harmful material;
  • bypassing technical restrictions or security measures; or
  • otherwise using the Platform to obtain an unfair or unlawful commercial advantage.

Serious or repeated violations may result in content restrictions, suspension, or termination in accordance with the Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

Vendors may submit only content that they own or are authorised to use.

By providing content to Xpress Deals, vendors confirm that they have the rights necessary for Xpress Deals to publish and use that content for the services and promotional purposes described in the Terms & Conditions.

Copyright, trademarks, photographs, logos, product descriptions, and other protected material remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.

Further provisions concerning intellectual property and the licence granted to Xpress Deals are contained in the Terms & Conditions.

10. Relationship to Legal Documents

These Guidelines & Policies explain the principal operational, content, and conduct standards applicable to Xpress Deals.

They complement, but do not replace, the legally binding Terms & Conditions and other applicable legal documents.

In the event of any inconsistency between these Guidelines & Policies and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail, subject to applicable mandatory law.

11. Updates

Xpress Deals may revise these Guidelines & Policies from time to time to reflect:

  • changes in applicable laws or regulatory requirements;
  • changes to the Platform, services, or functionality;
  • security or operational requirements; or
  • changes to platform standards and moderation practices.

The current version will be published on this page.

Material changes affecting business users will be communicated where required by applicable law or the Terms & Conditions.
