Frequently Asked Questions – Xpress Deals
Legal note: Xpress Deals is an EU-based intermediary marketplace operated by Xtakes Marketplace SRL (VAT: RO52150108). Unless an offer is explicitly marked “Sold by Xpress Deals,” sales contracts are between the customer and the vendor.
1) About Xpress Deals
What is Xpress Deals?
Xpress Deals is a European marketplace where verified vendors publish deals, discounts, coupons, products, services, rentals, and event offers. We connect buyers with sellers and facilitate secure checkout via trusted payment partners.
How does the platform work?
Vendors list their offers, set prices/availability, and handle fulfillment. Customers browse, apply coupon codes (where applicable), and purchase directly from vendors. Xpress Deals provides the platform, promotion, and payment rails where enabled.
2) Vendor Eligibility & Compliance
Who can sell on Xpress Deals?
Only legal entities (companies) registered in Europe with a valid intra-EU VAT number in VIES may sell on the platform. Private individuals are not accepted.
What laws must vendors follow?
Vendors must comply with EU law, including the E-Commerce Directive, Consumer Rights Directive, VAT/OSS rules, and GDPR, plus any national sector rules. Vendors are responsible for accurate listings, pricing, taxes, and lawful fulfillment.
3) Accounts & Security
How do I create an account?
Click Sign Up, enter your details, and confirm your email. Vendors must also provide company data and a valid VIES VAT for verification.
I forgot my password—how to reset?
Use Forgot Password on the login page and follow the email instructions.
Can I browse without an account?
Yes. An account is required to save deals, follow vendors, check out, or access premium features.
Do you close inactive accounts?
To keep the platform secure, we may deactivate or delete accounts with prolonged inactivity after prior notice, in line with our Privacy Policy.
4) Deals, Coupons & Validity
How do I use a coupon?
Copy the code on the deal page and paste it in the vendor’s checkout “Promo/Discount Code” field. Conditions may apply (min. spend, categories, dates).
Why is my coupon not working?
Check expiry, product/category limits, or regional restrictions. If issues persist, contact the vendor; if unresolved, contact support@xpressdeals.eu.
How long are deals valid?
Validity is set by the vendor and is shown on each offer. Expired deals are removed automatically.
5) Orders, Shipping & Returns
Who processes my order?
The vendor processes and fulfills your order. Xpress Deals is not the seller unless stated.
What are shipping costs and what’s included?
Shipping fees are set by the vendor and displayed at checkout. They may cover packaging, transport, insurance, and (if applicable) customs clearance in the country of origin.
I didn’t collect my package—what happens?
Uncollected parcels are returned to the vendor. You may be charged €15–€45+ to cover return/handling costs set by the vendor and carrier.
What should I do on delivery?
Count parcels and inspect packaging. If damaged, note it clearly (e.g., “Damaged packaging”) on the courier’s document before signing and take photos. Missing this step may affect transport damage claims.
How do returns work? Do I have a right to withdraw?
Returns follow the vendor’s policy and applicable EU consumer law. For most distance sales to consumers, there is a 14-day right of withdrawal from delivery (exceptions apply—e.g., personalized items, sealed hygiene goods after unsealing, perishable goods, dated events/services). Vendors must clearly display their return instructions.
6) Payments & Safety
How are payments handled?
Payments are processed in EUR via Stripe and/or Mollie. Xpress Deals does not store full card details. In some cases, funds are collected on behalf of the vendor and settled per agreed terms (split/marketplace flows).
Is checkout secure?
Yes. We use HTTPS and reputable PCI-compliant processors (Stripe/Mollie). See our Privacy Policy for data protection details.
7) Disputes & Buyer Protection
Who do I contact if there’s a problem?
Start with the vendor (order/returns information is on their store page). If unresolved, email support@xpressdeals.eu. We can help mediate under EU e-commerce rules.
Do you offer buyer protection?
We act as an intermediary. Payment providers (Stripe/Mollie) may offer chargeback or dispute mechanisms under their terms.
8) Community & Notifications
Can I submit deals?
Approved vendors can publish offers once verification is complete. We may add a public “suggest a deal” form in the future.
How do I get alerts?
Subscribe to our newsletter or enable notifications in your account to receive new deals, coupons, and exclusive offers.
Can I filter deals by location?
Yes. Local offers can be filtered by city/region where supported.
9) Compliance, VAT & Anti-Fraud
Do you accept non-EU vendors?
No. Only EU (incl. EEA/associated Europe where applicable) legal entities with valid VIES VAT numbers are accepted.
How do you handle fraud?
We use automated and manual checks. We may suspend listings, hold settlements, or terminate accounts where fraud or policy violations are suspected.
